Would the United States have been able to win the conflict against the British without the aid of its allies?

I personally do not think that the United States would haven been able to win without the help of France and Spain. The fact that the French gave the American's almost a million pounds of ammunition and gunpowder. Then Spain gave America a WHOLE BUNCH of different weapons. Even though this doesn't have to do with the allies, I think that knowing the whole layout of the location of war really helped America also since they knew all of the good hiding areas and how to "trick" the British.
